Project: In Conversation with Paul Lysaker

I've had the privilege to collaborate with colleagues creating series on MERIT (

Metacognitive Reflection and Insight Therapy). My colleagues and I have worked hard to collate documented conversations had with MERIT's founder Paul Lysaker over many delightful online workshops.

Paul (1960-2023) was a clinical psychologist with over 35 years of experience working with adults diagnosed with severe mental illness through recovery oriented psychotherapy.  Not only was he the founder and president of the MERIT Institute, but a professor of Clinical Psychology in the Department of Psychiatry at the Indiana University School of Medicine. 

These videos are part of Paul's legacy of not only his herculean clinical and academic contributions (author to over 500 peer reviewed articles, several books and supervisor to many trainees), but his candid mischievousness that brought joy to anyone who met him.
